Paternity testing at the Forensic Science Service

The FSS® is the largest supplier of forensic science services in the UK. It has pioneered the use of DNA profiling in forensic science and set up the world's first national criminal intelligence DNA database - The National DNA Database® launched in April 1995.

Expertise can also be provided in paternity testing with the provision of highly confidential DNA testing services available.

Paternity testing may help to answer a wide range of different questions involving disputed family relationships and can clarify inheritance and immigration issues.
